Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin custom-made ceramic laminates fabricated in the dental laboratory and then bonded to the tooth providing ideal size, shape and color.

Different from composite veneers, this procedure requires multiple visits. The specialist needs to prepare the affected teeth (slight grinding of the tooth surface), take impressions that will render accurate models, which will be sent to the dental laboratory. The lab technicians will manufacture the custom-made veneers that will be precisely fit and bonded to the teeth. It is important to note that porcelain veneers are permanent.
